DIY Crochet Basket | Crochet Bowl – Beginner Friendly | Scrap Yarn Crochet Project Free Pattern

She sells seashells by the seashore.
This childhood tongue twister randomly floated into my mind๐Ÿ˜‚
This little crochet bowl screams summer and makes me want to go to the beach!

There was a time in elementary school when I was fascinated with collecting seashells, rocks, and stones. I loved holding the seashell to my ear and closing my eyes to hear the sound of the crashing waves. Can you relate?

This fascination went on for several years - I think it was from when I was in Grade 2 to around Grade 4. I had many jars filled with seashells of all colors, sizes, and shapes that I would collect every time I went to the beach on family trips. And my eyes would constantly scan around for beautiful rocks and stones wherever I went. I had large bags to keep this collection of rocks and stones. My friends and I would bring our collection of seashells, rocks, and stones to school to boast and marvel at all the impressive shapes and colors. Remembering this makes me smile, and this little shell-shaped bowl reminds me so much of my childhood fascination.

I think this small crochet basket is good for keeping small jewelry and accessories, but I'm using it to keep my stitch markers!
