Happy Birthday to My Youtube Channel!

I just realized that my Youtube Channel, Crafting With Caylene, is one year old today! On this day last year, I opened my Youtube Channel and uploaded my first video, a tutorial for the magic circle. A few days later, I uploaded my first video tutorial for one of my crochet creations, an eyeglass case crocheted using the Tulip Stitch with a 3D flower button on top.

Looking back at my first few videos, I am super thankful that someone even watched them. I am even more grateful for all the encouraging comments and subscribers that kept me going. Although my Youtube Channel is not a huge one yet, I appreciate all the love and support from everyone. Thank you so much!

If you like what I share, please continue with the support and lovely comments, and subscribe to my Youtube Channel if you haven't already. It also helps me a lot if you could give me a 'Thumbs-Up' on tutorials that you enjoyed! And it's fun to see your finished work on social media, so if you have an Instagram account, show me your work by tagging me @craftingwithcaylene.

Meanwhile, I do have several new crochet projects planned, so I hope you will be looking forward to them and like what I will share as much as I enjoy sharing them with you!

By the way, the photo above is a personal project I'm working on for fun, but I'm still writing the pattern down anyway. It has become a habit of mine to write every single thing down [just in case] ever since I began making tutorials. I can't sit down and just crochet anymore!😂

  1. As a self taught newbie to crochet, I absolutely LOVE your wonderful tutorials Caylene! Theyre the best aive watched, theres been alot. One thing Inreally love and need is the great way you use stitch markers - in a way that makes so much sense and totally helps those of us new to crochet as exactly where to put those slip sts and first sts can be tricky to us.
Love your patterns also and next week Im off to purcchase some macrame cord so I can make both your blue & orange macrame baskets - couldnt decide which I loved the most so going to make both 😍

    1. I apologize for being so late to reply to your comment. Thank you so much for such an encouraging comment, and I'm so glad to know that my tutorials have been helpful. I hope both of your macrame baskets turned out great!
Although I don't upload often, I will definitely be sharing more of my crochet patterns soon :)
