Step By Step Video Tutorial: Crochet the Butter Popcorn Drawstring Bag (Original Stitch) - Easy, Free Crochet Pattern

Mmm, the buttery smell of popcorn, and the crunch!!

Honestly, there were times when I felt sluggish and uninspired. Life happens. So to be honest, I wasn't thinking about popcorn at all. I just wanted to make a drawstring bag of some kind, so I grabbed some yellow cotton yarn (it was sitting at the top of the pile, and I wanted a happy-looking color to brighten up my mood) and very aimlessly started crocheting. Of course there was no magic. It didn't come immediately. After many, many times of frogging...... Voila! I ended up with delicious-looking butter popcorn that I wished I could eat!

Because of how uninspired I was feeling, you can imagine how pleased I was with my butter popcorn drawstring bag. This is an original stitch, which I decided to name the Butter Popcorn stitch (duh!😉).

I hope you'll enjoy my version of butter popcorn!
